Meet the Team
Richard Page, Sales Adviser
Richard took an interest in Mobility Zone when, in a previous job, he used to deliver to us regularly. When the opportunity arose to join us, he jumped at the chance. Richard loves meeting people and finds the mobility business particularly rewarding. He takes pride in finding the best product for every customer. In his spare time Richard is a keen twitcher and quietly admits to his other passion, Luton Town Football Club. He also spends a lot of his spare time raising money for charities supporting Motor Neurone Disease.
Alison Townsend, Sales Adviser
We felt very lucky that Alison was available to join Mobility Zone in 2010 as she brought a vast amount of retail and customer service experience to the team. She has learnt about the wide range of mobility products quickly and gets great satisfaction from helping customers. Alison particularly enjoys seeing customers’ happy faces; knowing that the product they have bought will make a real difference to their quality of life. Alison, along with her husband Alan, spends most of her spare time looking after their three wonderful children and helping with various local projects.
Stuart Gilbert, Engineer
Stuart has been at Mobility Zone for many years and was instrumental in maintaining the smooth running of the business when it changed hands in 2010. In fact, we don’t think that anyone could know more about mobility products than Stuart! If your wheelchair, mobility scooter or powerchair comes in for a service or repair, it is in safe hands with Stuart. In his spare time Stuart likes to get out on his bike from time to time. He enjoys travelling too, especially to see his daughter in Australia.
William Mann, Director
Bill, as he likes to be known, agreed to come out of retirement to work in Mobility Zone for a short period of time after his son, Leigh, bought the business in 2010. He is still here! An engineer by trade Bill, along with his wife Liz, has vast experience in running businesses with a common goal of customer satisfaction. Bill cannot help going the extra mile in whatever he does; he loves using his engineering knowledge to come up with bespoke solutions for customers and in his other passions, like maintaining a narrow boat and supporting the canal museum in Stoke Bruene.
Leigh Mann, Owner Director
Leigh spends his time between Mobility Zone and his other business, Piroto Labelling Limited. He is passionate about running successful businesses that provide great service, reliable, high quality products and good value for their customers. Leigh is married with two children and is never too far from a football, although nowadays it is normally watching his two sons or his favourite team Liverpool, rather than playing.
